DESCRIERE
The MRI reference that the American Journal of Roentgenology called “hard to beat” is back in a state- of-the-art New Edition! It comprehensively examines all of the newest technologies and clinical applications relevant to MR imaging of the heart, brain, head and neck, spine, body, and musculoskeletal system. 4, 700 beautifully reproduced illustrations—including hundreds of new full-colour images—help readers accurately diagnosis a broad spectrum of conditions. This exhaustively revised 3rd Edition delivers more than 70% new content and with a new full-colour format.
Reviews
This work is the epitome of a reference source, and I'm sure that anyone who reads out MR scans could find something of use here. In an interesting juxtaposition, I found that the individual chapters are very approachable and readable. You might think that it would be hard to find what you're looking for in a source this large, but there are very good tables of contents, indices, and, with the online access, search, index, and cross-reference tools.
The subject matter is excellent, the images are outstanding, appropriate, and extensive, and the author list could literally serve as a "Who's Who" for radiology. I could imagine larger works, (more pages, chapters, etc) but I cannot imagine a more complete and appropriate coverage of what is now one of the most central aspects of our practice as radiologists.--Academic Radiology
